    Armitage (Egaltine) Eglantine Humphreys. He used to employ many of the neighbouring men at farm work.
    One day these men were employed digging potatoes. It was customary for these men to have a feast of roasted potatoes about half past ten in the morning although it was against the law of the employer.
    This particular morning the men were around large fire roasting the potatoes when Mr Humphreys paid them a surprise visit.
    A man named Hugh the Mud saw him coming and he said "We are caught at last" "No ", said John Caughey, "hide the potatoes and this shall be our plan"
