For my home in sweet Kilmoe.When I reach Columba's shore
Where freedom always smiles,
I'll never forget though far away,
My home in Erin's Isle,
Where in childhood days I rambled,
When troubles were but few,
Oh I'll never forget, though far away,
My home is in sweet Kilmore,When I'm in a foreign strand,
Strange faces there I'll see,
But none so dear or true to me,
As those of Carbery,
Although I'm far across the seas,
To them I will be true,
To neighbours kind that I left behind,
