- A cure for rheumatism is get a potato and put it in your pocket and carry it in your pocket every place you go. As the potato withers the rheumatism is supposed to gradually leave you.
- A cure for ringworm on cattle is to get sulphar and paraffin oil, and mix them together. Then put the mixture on the cattle where the ringworm is. Do this three times a week and in a months time the ringworm will be gone.
