    "Hidden Treasure"
My grand-father told me a story that there was an army of Soldiers shot in the middle of Spring Hill at the left hand side of the road and that gold "Tackling" was buried there. They were british soldiers and they left one soldier to mind the gold and "tackling"and a white dog is often seen there and that is supposed to be the soldier who was on guard. There is also gold buried in some gap but I don't know what gap it is. One of the Hemphills left his fortune in it. I don't know how much money it was. As yet no one ever made an attempt to get it.
