    A part of the land is boggy and the remainder of it is good, rushes grow on the greater part of the boggy land.
    There is not any wood growing on the land, but there are three groves covering about a quarter of an acre each. There is a river running through the land - rising on the Cooleagh road near the creamery and flowing out at the "Bridge of Grange", where it joins a number of other rivers, which are flowing into the Suir. A few little streams run through the land but they have no names. There are no lakes in my townland.
