    They used to be fairs in Connolly until about four years ago.They are not held now as they used not be successful and the buyers used not come there .The fairs used to held in Mr.Sharry's field an a near master Daly's public house.All the people of the neighboring districts used to sell cattle and often there used to be only twenty head of cattle in it and they used go through the land buying the cattle.
    The day of the Connolly fair used to be a very wicked day as they used to gather into the public houses .There were two public houses in it at that time Daly's and Dohans.They used to
