  1. In the townland of Cul na Muck stands
    an ancient castle. This is a square structure 23 X 20 feet, the walls are about 6 feet thick and about 50 feet high.
    This castle had four storeys, the third floor resting on a stone arch still remaining. The windows are formed of chiselled limestone.
