mile and a half south east of Clonmel. The well is surrounded by a low wall. Left of the "Wishing Well" is the "Old Luck Tree", and whoever ties on it a piece of his clothing will obtain his hearts desire.
People are forbidden to go to the well now but the tree with the rags on it still remains.
    The West Well:
It is situated in St. Mary's Protestant Church Yard. There is a fork of a tree about three feet from the ground, and between the two branches the well is. There is a cure in its water for sore eyes.
