    Salt heated in a frying pan and put into a woollen stocking. This put around the throat nearly always cures it.
    A sore - leg.
    Cowdung mixed with hog's lard.
    A burn or scald.
    To lick a Lizard's stomach. There is always a cure for a burn on tongue.
    A sore-throat.
    Brown sugar spread on a sliced turnip and left stand for twenty - four hours. The juice is good for the throat.
