The earth. - There is a hidden treasure in a grave in Scotshouse graveyard where a man who had been very wealthy man is buried. Having made his coffin long before he died he is supposed to have put a lot of gold in his coffin. Some years ago an attempt was made to recover it when the tomb which is over the grave was broken.
- There was a man caught a fairy and asked it for a treasure. The fairy said to get two black horses without a white hair and the man did so. The fairy led him the way to a lake at Drum and said there was a chest of gold in the(continues on next page)
