    he got across he happened to look down and he saw the cloven feet of the devil. The man went home and he never said "The devil carry me" again.
    ii One time there was a man and he went down to the river for a bucket of water. When he was getting the water he saw a big fish going past and he got a hatchet and cut about three yards off the fish. He then went home and at it. The next day he went down for water and its tail was going past. The man said it must have been at Benburb when he saw it last.
