- (continued from previous page)There were two parties in this district called the Fenians and Ribbon men and when these two parties would meet at dances or wakes they would fight and the Fenians who were the strongest mostly won. It was prophecied (sp) that Cromwell would die a hard death because of his cruelty. He was hanged and buried at Tyburn according to tradition.
