  1. One time a woman went on a visit to a neighbour’s house. She left the baby in the cradle its lone. When she came back the child was swapped by the fairies. It was always crying and they sent for the priest. There was a lake near hand and he told them to take the child down to the lake and drown it. When they were throwing it in, it put its legs across other and it took out a fiddle and played across the lake.
