    I am Paddy Myles an Irish boy
    I came across the sea
    For singing and for dancing

    I can sing and dance with any man

    St. Patrick's day I long to wear

    Tis old but it is beautiful
    The like you ne'er hath seen
    It has been worn for ninety years
    In this little Isle so green
    It sprang from our relations
    And descended with galore
    St. Patrick's day I long to see
    The hat my father wore.
    The Croppy Boy
    Good men and true in this house who dwell
    To a strange buacall I pray you tell
    Is the Priest at home or may he be seen
    I would like to speak with Father Green.
    The priest is at home and may be seen
    Tis easy speaking with father Green
    But you must wait till I go and see
