There was once a man and he was living near a fort, and was keeping cattle in it, and it happened that all his cattle disappeared.

There was once a man and he was living near a fort, and was keeping cattle in it, and it happened all his cattle disappeared. He was very vexed, and one night he said that he would stay in the fort, and as he was there a small little man came to him and asked him why he was staying there, and the farmer told him that his cattle were stolen. The little man told him that he would meet him at the next fair and buy him a cow. Then the farmer met the little man at the fair, and he bought the cow for the farmer and told him that he would fill all his farm with cattle if he kept the cow. He kept the cow for twenty years and his cattle were increased every year.
