  1. Mr. Patrick Darcy was the poet in our district. He lived in Inchamore but now he is a Solicitor in America. He was born in or about the year 1890. He composed a lot of poems, or was about "Keeper Hill" and he also composed a beautiful verse of poetry about Ballina. All his poetry is written in English. Before he went to America he was working on a farm.
