    "Did you ever hear of Petticoat Loose" said the ghost. "When you go home to night your horse will die." The man was going home and the ghost asked him to meet him in the same place tomorrow. The man agreed. Next night he was coming, and he met the curate of the place. The two of them went together. The ghost came out in the shape of a hound and made for the priest. Go back! go back! said the priest. Take your right form and I will talk to you. The hound changed. The priest asked what brought him here. He got no answer. What is wrong with you he asked, "I killed a child and I am damned" said the ghost. Then the ghost changed
