  1. It is said that one time the fairies in Clare used to go over hurling with the Tipperary fairies. It seems that one time a man named Murphy was asked over to Tipperary to hurl. He said that he had nothing to go over in. Immediately he saw a white horse and he got up on him. He was told on no account to speak to any person. It was not long until he met a man and he spoke to him. Immediately the horse disappeared.
