When the old school master died he had in his possession three very valuable books of folklore. These he left to a neighbour named MacNamara, but this man thought they contained witchcraft. he was very superstitious. First he thought to burn them, but he was afraid to do so, fearing any mishap would happen to him or to his family, so he dug a deep hole in one of his fields and buried them many feet down.
