- (continued from previous page)people visit the Blessed Sacrament during the day and the school children in pairs do a half an hour - which is marked out for them and they never fail.Good Friday is again a great solemn day. The people come to the mass of the pre.sanctified.
The Priest carries back the Blessed Sacrament from the Altar of Repose to the High Altar.
The same procession takes place as the previous day.
The people kiss the cross in turn.
During the day people come to do the Stations of the Cross especially between the hours of 12 and 3 o'clock.
There is a pious belief that if a person does these three consecutive hours in the church, he will get whatever request he asks.
Some few doubt.
Holy Saturday.
The ceremonies are very long this day and the Easter Water is blessed.
The people have great faith in the Easter Water. Some person from each house comes with a bottle and brings it home.
