    If the leg of a beast that has died from blackleg is kept behind the rafter in the kitchen -it is a cure for blackleg.
    Garlic put in a calf's milk'cures a cough.
    To put three pounds of flaxseed into a bucket and pour boiling water over it ,allow it to draw then given to a horse to drink is said to be a cure for a bad cough.
    Starch boiled in milk and given to a calf cures a scour.
