- One Christmas Eve Thomas Russell was working around the house.
It was a cold windy day, he heard a knock at the door, he opened it and a very small woman with a child in her arms stood outside.
She asked him for a drop of milk although he was buying it he gave her some. When she got it she said “before night your house will be flowing with milk.”
Sure enough that night two cows calved. In the morning he had two or three buckets full of milk.
They they were not expecting the cows to calve for about a week later. This story was told to me by- Bailitheoir
