    known as "blockers".These men assist in making a bargain between the buyer and he farmer and when they cannot agree to the price and only a few shillings divide them this man -the "blocker "gets the buyer and the farmer to "split"the difference and catching both their hands will slap them together and "clench"the deal.This method of completing the deal is binding on both the buyer and the farmer once it is made .
