    Denis Curtis smith Kilnaboy used to banish rats, and stop bleeding in any cut or wound no matter how severe it was. There used to be stories told in the forge long ago. There were pikes made in Frawley's forge for the 1916 rising. A smith in Dysert named McInerney made pikes for the Fenians.
