    cornered dash. The milk is put into the churn and the woman puts on a white apron and starts to churn. After a quarter of an hour boiling water is put into the milk.
    After an hour the churning is finished. After-wards the butter dish, spades and scoop are scoured with salt and boiling water. Then the butter maker washes her hands with hot water and soap and Oat-meal and takes out the butter with the scoop into a dish. She washes it twice with spring water to remove all the butter-milk. She puts salt in proportion to the amount of butter. The salt is thoroughly
