be-held the fair lady of the lake. So to make a long story short he took her home with him and they were married next day and as years went by God blessed them with two lovely children.
They seemed to be very happy but one day while the man was from home she found the net which he had hidden in the thatch of the house. When he returned home late at night the mermaid had absconded and the poor man felt very unhappy ever afterwards.
