  1. We set potatoes every years. My father ploughs or dig the land and makes it in to ridges. My mother cuts the potatoes into slites. My father sticks them with a spade or steveen. if he is setting with a steveen I do the "goggering" that is I throw the slites in the hole then they are covered with a block. After a few weeks he puts manure on the ridges and clay over that. When the young stalks appear he
