    called Cullonaughton which means Naughton's wood, because there was a wood in the village long ago. He had two large farms of land one in Killasser and another in Cullonaughton. He had a lot of cattle also.
    Another chief called Jordan lived in Meelick, and he had a great deal of cattle.
    Cattle were very dear
