    two hundred acres of this was taken by over by the land Commission and was divided and given to the Tenants of Kilfa, Derrycoosh, Curnanool, and Graffymore about ten years ago.
    From our school there is wood which you can see if you stand at the door called Rahins wood. This wood takes up about sixty acres of land and it is the biggest wood in the County Mayo.
    The principal kind of trees which grows in this wood are Ash, Oak, Sycamor, lime Berch, Beech, Chestnut Pines, Firs and plenty of Holly.
