Sometimes we go down the river and we get a flat stone and we throw it along the water and it gives two or three hops or four hops along the top of the water and we call that "(skinns) skinning the cat." - Long ago the little girls used to make dolls out of little ash branches and they would make a little house outside for the doll. This little house used to be make out of little sticks and then they would thatch it with rushes. When they would have it made they would put the doll to sleep.(continues on next page)
