  1. Churning 12:1:1938
    A few days ago the teacher told us to find out all we could about a Dash Churn so I am putting down all the information I got in the next few paragraphs.
    A Dash Churn is about three feet high. The top of it is about a foot wide and the bottom is about a foot and half wide. There are other parts in the churn, the dash and the lid. The sides of it are round.
    It was used very much long ago but is not now. I churn once a week in winter and twice in summer. Everybody helps at the churning and strangers who come in
