    When the Yeomens heard this they wished to wait for his coming they did so and just as he was drawing quite near home he was held up and we do not know wheter he was shot or not but he was murdered by the Yemens at a place called the red gate. The Yeomen soldiers kept the body of the United Irishman for several days. But anyhow the neighbours around Breaffy did not like to see this
