    large vans with two horses drawing it. The tinkers that are poor they live in tents which are made of a sheet of oilcloth spread over sticks and they sleep in side in the tents with straw shook on the ground. Some of the tinkers are very nice when they come into a house and some of them are very crankey when they don't get what they want.
