The people had to walk the pigs to the fair as there was no horses and carts as there is now a days. There was no bacon factory to kill the pigs as there is now a days. Long ago jobbers came a week before the fair day to the houses to buy the pigs and cattle. Now a days there is a fair once a month(continues on next page)
