    During his life he composed a number of poems but none of them can be brought to light again.
    The name of one song he made was "The Wake of the Smashes" and this is what he said.

    Old Jom Keane
    And Jimmy Stack the soldier Sat at the Smashers wake And the Lardner smeared with porter. He made this because he wanted to shoe off to the people how well he was able to shoe make poems.
