    Moinvoor. Mr. Tom Molyneaux was the teacher. The teacher usually lodged in the neighbouring houses. There was no Irish taught long ago but every subject taught in English. There was no love for the Irish language then. Pencils and slates were used in those schools. The children were arranged in seats. There used to be blackboards and maps in the schools.
