- We have fourteen cows, twelve calves two horses two sows nine bonhams and a donkey. All the cows have got names. When driving the cows we say "How" How". The cows house is made of cement floor and is covered with iron. The cows are tied to the wall with chains which are made of strong wire and are made at home in Ireland.
The horses are kept in stables in winter and are fed on hay and oats. The horses are shod by the local smiths and are clipped(continues on next page)- Collector
