Sunset. If the colour of the sky at sunset is red it foretells fine weather. If the clouds were of a coppery or yellow tint around where the sunset, such a sky foretells rain. Moon. If there is a halo round the moon at night it foretells wet weather. In some hot places before a great thunderstorm the little birds stop singing.
