    was dead. When they were all gone out they used to tie a rope around the corpse. That night when the wake would be on they used to pull the rope and the corpse used to sit up in the bed and all the people used to run out of the room with fear.
    When the corpse was gone to be buried they used to dip each corner of the sheet that the corpse was lying on in a tumbler of cold water.
