    morning the priest would come and put blessed ashes in to the coffin and then he would go away. On the evening that the person was to be buried they would not bring them to the chapel. They would go to the long way round. When the coffin would be going down into the grave all the people would go away. The wake candles are given away and the person's clothes and snuff are thrown into the fire.
