Old roads
22 nd. February,1938.
In the years of the famine the people were starving in this part of the country.The English Government got a road made about ten miles long so as that the people could earn money.They pay that(we) they got was two pence per day.When they used to get their money they used to go and buy Indian meal which was the only food that(continues on next page)- Collector
