Some people go to a spring well very early on May morning and they keep this during the year and they put some of the water through the churn, to make it lucky.
Some people would not make a churn of a Friday, because they say that it is not lucky.
The churns are nearly all gone now, and the people use barrels instead. The people sell the butter at the market. The buttermilk is used for making bread and some people give it to the pigs. Some people(continues on next page)
