  1. There was a great thunder around this place. One day my father was in the bog cutting turf. The name of the bog is Cohy. There was a man sitting down by the side of a rick of turf and a flash of lightning came it struck him dead. There was some of his hair burned. The name of the man was O'Grady from Ballykeale. This happened in 1892. There was a great storm in 1839. On that night all the fish were of the sea were driven out in the land, and the spray was put out on the land. There were many ricks of hay knocked. Everybody's hay was knocked around here, and
