  1. There are not many holy wells about here. There is a holy well up on Mathew Morrows land at Meenagowan. It is only about six inches every way but it is very deep. If you would put a fishing rod down through the water you would not be fit to touch the water. In the warm weather the water of it is very cold and in the winter the water of it is very warm.
