- About 120 years ago, there lived in the village of Broadway a mason and a tailor, named Tom Moran and Dick Rossiter, respectively. They both lived opposite each other in the upper end of the village. One of the houses is still standing but the other was burned recently.
It happened that on three successive nights they both dreamed of a treasure being hidden in a field near-by. The tailor, who had an apprentice, told him and on the following night the three of them set out to seek the treasure. They brought spades and a lantern with them and went to the field. They found the treasure which consisted of a chest of golden sovereigns worth about 200 pounds.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
