An old travelling piper was found dead at the foot of this hill by a herdsman from the village of Comeragh.
On this same hill Crotty the highwayman robbed his friend Freeney, another highwayman - This lake is supposed to be enchanted. My father can tell about this lake in his young schooldays. His grandfather was a herdsman(continues on next page)
