    Fadó do bhí triúir driofúracha darbh ainm Máire agus Cáit agus Peig ina chónaí i Sráidbaile Déiseach sa conntae seo. Bhíodar mar daoine naomhtha mar Bhídís i gcónaí ag rá paidreacha i bhfad gach lá. Oíche áirithe do thárla go rabhadar ag paidreóireacht mar ba ghnáth leo. Nuair a bhí deire leis an guidheacht dúirt beirt ach le Máire go raghaidís a codladh. Ní raibh ach píosa beag coinnle fágtha. Do lean Máire ag guí chun Dé agus dúirt sí ná raghadh sí féin a codladh go dtí go mbeadh an snaibín coinnle caite ar fad. Bhí sí ar a glúna go breacadh an lae mar d'fhan an píosa coinnle ar lasadh go dtí san. Tugtar Nunnery Lane ar an áit sin.
