- Underneath this stone are deposited the mortal remains of Anna Maria Carr, who departed this life on the 20th of July 1815 aged 56 years. Formed of no common materials, she thought of others more than for herself. Her heart was warm and sincere. She was never occupied in the exercise of active unostentatious benificence. Her failing were few and trifling. Her virtues were many and great. They were well known to one who hopes through the merits of his Redeemer to meet her again in another and a better world, where sorrow and sighing will be no more.
