Richard Purser Jnr was the only issue of this ill-assorted pair. He was a bit of a molly at best of times and associated with no one. He was sent to high school (Protestant) Carlow at the time I was attending the Academy there. We were the first two in the parish to ride bicycles and to wear spectacles and as for books we carried a library(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
