They fought till evening and finally Jack stabbed the dragon in the eye with the sword and killed him. Th sea became red with the blood of the dragon. While all stood amazed Jack rushed to his steed, jumped on his horse but before he could get away the princess caught one of the slippers and held in to it. The steed turned and fled leaving the slipper in her hands. Jack went back and all happened as before etc___
At supper the master told the wonderful happenings of the day - how all were surprised at the strange man who killed the dragon and disappeared without claiming his(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
